for when she discovers what God did in her ~ the message is simple. the delivery is different
christian asmr lofi with
a little music, a little rain, a little poetry, a little praying
and a cozy little Bible study with me
what is this?
It's something new that I'm trying. It's something for her calm and her confidence. And this is the very first one. Fire Mic Friday is about a personal love lesson designed to build her up. Filled with:
- an inspirational poetry session +
- a mirror talk confession +
- a bullet prayer & a soft spoken Bible lesson
for restoring hope & remembering God’s love.
Every week it’s going to be ONE point shared three different ways (through poetry, through prayer and through faith-based affirmations that I like to call mirror talk confessions).
Play the video above to have a listen or read up on each lesson below.
[00:00] POETRY SESSION
This Fire Mic Friday opens with spoken word poetry as a reminder that you are stronger that your situation. So, if you want some poetry healing and soft spoken inspiration, then dive in to my first every lofi asmr moment.
[02:02] PRAYERS FOR CONFIDENCE
These are short little prayers for confidence in her because of how she is connected to God. It's spoken worship to praise God or pierce through daily pain, plus a soft spoken Bible study with me on two of my favorite verses for self esteem, confidence and self love (Psalms 139 verse 13-14)
[08:53] MIRROR TALK CONFESSION
The last section is a simple Bible-based “i am” affirmation for your day and a reminder about why these mirror talk moments matter so much. In my regular life I pray for more confidence and then I talk to that lady looking back at me in the mirror because I want her ready for this day.
So, when you're ready, stretch and repeat after me ~ because you are strong enough for whatever you're facing. But the woman in the mirror can always use a daily reminder or two.
how to enjoy
You can play the 10 minute session from end to end. Or skip to your favorite section by clicking the numbers above. Either way, dive in and then let me know what you think.
As for me, I play it as I wake up and stretch while listening. And then I move on to the morning worship that I listen to while getting dressed. This little recording encourages me. The prayers give me confidence. The affirmation reminds me of his strength in me. And the poem blesses me. I hope it blesses you too.
The poem is called “resilience” from the “wake me poetry” collection by jamillah warner. The music is from EpidemicSound.com/track/Eyv4uyq6BW/.
