It would be easier if your attacker faced you head on. That way you know what’s coming and that you need to fight. But in real life the battle is sometimes subtle and it sneaks up on you.
One of these women was a victim of domestic violence as a college student. Another was attacked by her husband on their honeymoon. The third grew up in a household filled with domestic violence. And the fourth has never had to deal with anything like that.
All of them are beautiful, blessed and pursuing their dreams. Look, your past doesn’t have the right to destroy your future. I don’t care how dark it was, the violence is not bigger than your destiny. You run this.
